APC’s criticism: You’re plotting to unseat Tinubu’s govt, Bwala tackles El-Rufai
Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communications, Daniel Bwala, on Tuesday, accused former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, of an attempt to unseat the current administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Bwala stated that El-Rufai participated in the formation of the current government but now plotting to unseat it.
The presidential spokesman voiced out after El-Rufai lambasted his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, accusing it of abandoning its founding principles and fostering poor leadership.
The former Kaduna governor also described the state of governance and opposition in the country as a “national emergency”.
But Bwala, in a post on his X handle on Tuesday, questioned if El-Rufai would have said made the same statement if he were in the current government.
He wrote on his X handle, “My Senior brother, if you were to be in the government and cabinet, would you have held and expressed the same position?
“History is replete with examples. It is a government you participated in its formation, that you now want to unseat.”
